How IPHush fits remote work
Many work tools trust only known addresses: an admin panel, a server, a bank or a client portal that allows a short list of IP addresses. A shared VPN address cannot go on such a list, because other people use it too. Pro includes a dedicated IP: one IPv4 and one IPv6 address that only your account uses, at the router you choose (Chicago, London, Amsterdam or Düsseldorf). Put it on the allowlist once, and it stays yours.
Some apps need a proxy instead of a whole-device VPN. Every plan includes proxy logins: an HTTPS proxy on port 8443, encrypted with TLS, and a SOCKS5 proxy inside the VPN. A login is a username and a password for one app or browser; Personal has 1, Family 3 and Pro 5. If a password leaks, rotate it in your account and the old one stops everywhere.
For a home office, a router with IPHush covers every computer, printer and phone behind it and counts as one connection. Family and Pro include one router, and on Pro the router leaves from your dedicated IP. Pro also includes a business invoice.
Whatever you do, IPHush keeps no connection logs: no sites, no DNS questions, no connection times and no IP addresses. The traffic between your device and our router is encrypted with WireGuard.

Good to know
Ask your IT team before you install any VPN software on a work laptop: some companies allow only their own. Email port 25 is blocked on IPHush to keep spam off our addresses; mail apps use ports 587 or 465, which work normally. A proxy login allows up to 16 connections at once, and idle connections close after 15 minutes.

Can my company allowlist my IPHush address?
Yes, with the dedicated IP of Pro: the address stays yours at the location you chose.
Does IPHush keep logs of my work?
No. IPHush keeps no connection logs: no sites, DNS queries, connection times or IP addresses.
Can I use IPHush with my work laptop?
Yes, with the official WireGuard app and a file from your account, if your company allows other VPN software. Ask your IT team first.
What is the difference between the VPN and a proxy login?
The VPN sends everything from the device through IPHush. A proxy login is for one app or browser that you point at the proxy.
Can several people in the office share one plan?
Yes, within the devices at once of the plan: 25 on Pro. A router counts as one, whatever is behind it.
Do I get an invoice for my company?

My email will not send. Why?
Port 25 is blocked to keep spam off our addresses. Use port 587 or 465 in your mail app.
