Questions,
answered.
Everything about privacy, plans, devices and the network, in plain words.
Privacy
What does “zero connection logs” mean?
We do not record the sites you visit, when you connect, your DNS queries, your traffic, or your IP address while you are connected. Our routers are set up so there is nothing like that to keep.
So what do you keep?
Only what we need to run your account: your account number, your plan and balance, a monthly data total per device, on Pro the dedicated IP assigned to your account, and payment records (kept 7 years, 10 for purchases in the EU, for tax).
The full list is in our Privacy policy.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone, for any purpose. Card payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms.
Can an address be traced back to me?
Our exit addresses are shared by many people at once, and we keep no connection logs. An address and a time do not point to one account.
On the Pro plan your dedicated IP is yours alone. Choose it when you need a fixed address, not when you want to blend in.
How is IPHush different from NordVPN, ExpressVPN or Hola?
We run our own network with our own IP addresses, keep no connection logs, never route your traffic through other users' devices, and have no trackers on our site.
The side-by-side table, with sources: IPHush vs NordVPN, ExpressVPN and Hola.
Do you use trackers or ads?
No. Our site has no trackers and no third-party scripts, not even fonts from other companies. When you visit, your browser talks only to iphush.com and to our own routers, for the latency test. Only if you open the support chat does it also talk to MirageCHAT, the chat service of our own company.
Is my traffic encrypted?
Yes. We use WireGuard with ChaCha20-Poly1305 and Curve25519. IPv4 and IPv6 both go through the tunnel, and DNS is answered by our own resolvers inside it.
Account
Why an account number instead of an email?
Your 16-digit account number is your sign-in. No name, no email. You can add an email later if you want sign-in codes. It is optional.
I lost my account number. What now?
If you added an email, sign in with a code sent to it. If you did not, we cannot recover the account, because we do not know who you are. That is the point.
Keep the number in a password manager, or write it down somewhere safe.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Account → Delete account. You can also start it at iphush.com/delete-account. Payment records that tax law requires are the only thing kept.
Plans & payment
Which plan is right for me?
- Personal, $4.99: 3 devices at once. For one person.
- Family, $7.99: 8 devices at once, 1 router and Smart DNS for 1 home network, up to 50 Mbit/s. For a home.
- Pro, $19.99: 25 devices at once, 1 router, 5 proxy logins, a dedicated IP and Smart DNS for 3 home networks, up to 100 Mbit/s each. For work and power users.
The VPN has no speed cap on any plan: you get the full speed of your connection. Smart DNS is for TVs and consoles that cannot run a VPN app; it is not part of Personal, and each home network counts as one device.
Every plan includes all 57 locations. Yearly saves 25%.
How do I pay?
By card, or with the USDC stablecoin, through Stripe's secure checkout. Your card number never reaches us.
What is the balance?
A USD balance on your account. Top it up, and your plan renews from it automatically.
It can only be used for IPHush and cannot be withdrawn. It is capped at $2,000 and it never expires.
How does auto-renew work?
Auto-renew is on by default and you can switch it off at any time in the app. If your balance will not cover the renewal, the app tells you 3 days before.
If a renewal fails, the plan pauses until you top up.
Are taxes included?
Prices are shown before tax. Where tax applies, it is added at checkout.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Ask within 24 hours of a payment and we refund it in full, to the same payment method.
Can I change my plan?
Yes, at any time from your account.
Devices
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and Android with our app, Windows, Mac and Linux with a WireGuard file from your account, and routers: MikroTik, OpenWrt, GL.iNet and more. Any smart TV works through your router.
The Help pages walk you through each one.
How many devices can I use at once?
3 on Personal, 8 on Family and 25 on Pro. You can register more devices than that. The limit counts the ones connected at the same time.
If you reach it, the app shows "All connections are in use". Disconnect one, or upgrade.
Can I use IPHush on my TV?
Yes, on every brand. Samsung, LG, Roku and game consoles work through a router with IPHush. TVs without VPN apps can use Smart DNS.
See VPN for Smart TV for your brand.
How do routers count?
A router counts as one connection, and every device behind it is protected. Family and Pro each include 1 router. On Pro it leaves from your dedicated IP.
What are proxy logins?
A username and password for our HTTPS proxy, for one app or browser instead of the whole device. Personal has 1, Family 3 and Pro 5.
See Proxy logins for the settings.
Network
Where are your locations?
57 locations in 45 countries, in one list. Our own routers are in Chicago, New York, Kansas City, Fremont, Toronto, London, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf and Milan, most of them connected to internet exchanges and directly to the big networks.
Some locations are served from a nearby server. The app shows it in a small line under the name, such as "via Chicago".
What does "via Chicago" mean?
That location is served by our router in Chicago, with an address registered in the country or US state you picked. Pick Japan, and websites see Japan, while your traffic is carried via Chicago. The latency you see is the latency to that router.
How fast is it?
Full speed of your connection — no speed caps, on every plan.
At busy times, every account keeps a fair share. We never cut you off.
What is a dedicated IP?
An address only you use, at the router you choose: Chicago, London, Amsterdam or Düsseldorf. It is good for banks, work logins and allow-lists, and it means fewer CAPTCHAs. Included in Pro.
Because the address is only yours, reports of abuse from it reach your account. We still keep no connection logs.
Which protocols do you use?
WireGuard for the VPN, plus an HTTPS proxy and a SOCKS5 proxy inside the tunnel.
Why is email port 25 blocked?
To keep spam off our addresses, which keeps them clean for everyone. Your mail app uses ports 587 or 465, which work normally.
Streaming
Does it work with Netflix, Prime Video and the rest?
Our addresses are new, ours and clean on the blocklists, and the speed is made for 4K. Streaming services set their own catalogs and rules per country, though, so what you can watch can vary.
Use each service under its own terms.
Which plan for 4K?
Any plan: there is no speed cap, so 4K depends on your own connection. Family and Pro add a router for the TV.
Legal
Who runs IPHush?
Mirage Global Technologies LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, USA. We run the network ourselves.
Is using a VPN legal?
In most countries, yes. You are responsible for following the law where you are, and our Acceptable use policy.
How do I contact you?
Support: support@iphush.com. Abuse reports: abuse@iphush.com. Privacy requests: privacy@iphush.com.
Never send your account number or password by email. We will never ask for them.
